Re: rear fog light/front fog

About the idea of fog lights and running them routinely, I can agree that it
is wrong. I have to say though on dark highways with woods beside you, they
make it nicer, since you can see if any little critters are going to try and
cross you path. I have seen others with their driving lights on and with some
types it can be annoying. The A4's lights being intergrated with the
headlights does not seem to intefer with other drivers, at least that is what
I have been told, by friends or family I have run into, one way or another.
Also they do not seem to draw your attention, like a seperate headlight and
driving light does.
Before I get too much feedback about this, let me say I agree that the
driving lights(as well as brights) should not be used in city limits, except
when weather permitting.
One last thing, do most cars with hid's, come with a switch that allows for
the dimming of these lights by varing amounts. Some of the European cars I
have seen have a switch, like the seat heating switches, that can be rolled to
limit the intensity of these damn lights. It seems like all car manufactures
would use these. Or is this one of the case like with trucks and SUVs, that
they could lower the lights on the front end by putting the blinkers and
parking lights above the headlamps. Then If more light is needed for off
roading or other various reasons, KC's or Hella's can be added. Can anyone see
anything wrong with this logic.
