Dallas area service and fuel gauge question
Hello all,
Thanks for the advice on the fuel distributor. I have just checked
over some of the electrical connections my 87 5k. I have disconnected
the upper temp sensor on the engine (between #1 and #2 cly) and the car
doesn't start at all with this disconnected. I have also checked the
Hall sensor wires that come out of the side of the distributor. The
connection into the distributor seems to wiggle allot but they seem
connected.
I have taken my car to Central Audi in Richardson and European Auto Tech
off of I75 on Park. It sound like I still haven't found a mechanic that
has properly analyzed the problem. Does anybody have an recommendations
for a mechanic in this area that may be able to properly analyze this
problem ( post: fuel distributor 5ks), which sounds like it may be
electrical?
I am going to check if anybody I know has some fuel gauges. Where do I
connect them to the fuel distributor and what pressure reading should I
expect to see?
Thanks in Advance
