Yup. Denver is like the La Brea Tar Pitst. It may surprise you to know the
original
Mile High Football Stadium is made almost entirely of recycled aluminum from
abandonded jet aircraft.

But seriously folks, when the thermometer hits 95 degF out on the tarmac at DIA,
the density altitude goes to the stratosphere.
