i dunno how much you have looked into this, or if you
have checked the archive for the 4k cutout at the
intendedacceleration.com site. i fixed my 4k by
replacing the connectors to the oxygen sensor ecu
leads - a plug behind the fuel distributor that had
really frayed wires. also disconncet the ground terminal
behind there and hit all of it with contact cleaner
(auto parts store will have this). basically, clean
every contact (especially sensors) under the hood.
i went to far as to lightly polish the spades with
a light dremel-tool wire brush.
