No, if you wanted that, you could have posted this message to the A4.org
forum!

Hmmm, interesting. My A4 1.8t was somewhat quick in stock form, my best
GTech 0-60 time was 7.9 seconds. Since then I am seeing times in the high 6
second range since getting a .8 bar chip...but that's another story. And on a
track, 0-60 isn't that important, it's all about handling. From what you say,
I bet a lot of the reason you did so well was your superior handling, braking,
and quite possibly better driving skills. You are able to go into the corners
faster since you have better brakes, and you are able to carry a higher speed
through each corner due to your suspension. And believe me, your car is no
dog, it's got 35 less hp than a 1.8t, but it is lighter! I would quote you
some of the 0-60 times for your 4KCSQ, but Eric Fluhr's brother took off with
my Coupe GT & 4K brochures and is in no hurry to return them.

I have seen this before, at the last SCCA event I attended, the Neon ACRs were
kicking everyone's butt, especially the Cameros and Mustangs....they are
faster, but the Neon handles much better. I also saw something like this when
I was riding shotgun in Brendan Rudack's stock A4 1.8tq during the Pikes Peak
track day at the Pueblo Motorsports park. There was an M3 with us, and while
I was with Brendan, he would catch right up to the M3's bumper through the
corners, but the M3 would start to pull away from Brendan on the
straights...but when the corners came back around, Brendan was right there on
his rear bumper. And oh yea, this M3 had racing tires (so did Brendan) and
some minor engine mods such as a European Airbox.

So, don't sweat the hate mail you may get for that post, if you get any. It's
all about your skill and handling. Oh, yea, another reason why you were
probably doing so well....most A4 owners are X-Honda/Acura owners, and what do
they know?
