Update on V-6 2.8 liter experience

Hi -

My Audi mechanic just replaced thermostat.  He claims he has been 
seeing broken thermostats in this engine.  Mine was not broken but 
had a weak spring.  He changed the coolant and used Autobahn.  Never 
use a phosphate anti-freeze like Prestone. I now have heat!! 

My head gaskets are seeping.  Particularly, the right one.  Not 
severe enough to repair right now.  Valley pan gasket is dry.  Oil 
cooler (where the oil filter screws on) was the source of my leak.  
There is a seam on this cooler which is probably expanding and 
contracting with temperature.  Technician says 
not severe enough to take action yet, but, worth watching.
