400+ miles on a full tank! Wow! I can't remember when I got over 300 on a
tank.
In any event, I did both front wheel bearings on my 87 4kq about a week ago.
Haven't noticed any difference, but I will pay a little more attention and will
post something if I can confirm your experience. Maybe I'll get lucky and pick
up the 100 miles per tank that you lost. <grin>
Also did the front subframe bushings and transmission mounts at the same time,
which pretty much completes the replacement of all front suspension components
(did the other items this past summer). What a huge difference this has made.
Can't wait for Springtime and autox season to start back up.
