Bumper Plastic Refinishing - Long-term results using Mar-Hyde Bumper Paint

Hi All:

Last spring I refinished my plastic bumper covers using the Mar-Hyde
paint.  The front bumper cover still looks great.  No peeling, fading,
flaking etc.

The rear bumper cover on the other hand is starting to peel and flake
in several locations.  Where the paint is still adhered it looks great:o

I went through the same process for prepping and spraying both front
and back:

    1)  Remove bumpers and washed with soap and water rinse.
    2)  Washed again with Simple Green
    3)  Cleaned using Mar_hyde Lacquer Thinner
    4)  Let dry thoroughly
    5)  Applied about 8 light coats of the paint per instructions on
        the can.

I would have expected the front bumper cover to go first saince it
seemingly takes more abuse.

Anyway, thought I'd share my results.
