Ok, now you have my interest, are you saying that the 113 tooth belt and
the 120 tooth belt BOTH have square cut teeth? What applications are these
belts used on?

The late style 142 tooth belt off my MC-2 engine does have the rounded
"super Torque" style.

I also have a new timing belt for the 4 cyl engine used in the 1985 Audi
4000S, it has a part number of 056-109-119A and it has 121 teeth!

Does anyone have the belt off a 1986-88 5000T/Q or early 89 200TQ (square
cut) they can count the teeth on. Phil, does the MB engine use the 142
tooth belt or the 113? 120?

Nothing worse than a square cog in a round hole
