I don't agree. I just did a 4500 mi road trip in my 84 Ur-q w/1 year
old (now 9000mi) P 210 Asymmetrico's through this last "big" winter
storm that hit the midwest. They performed well on dry pavement at
80-90mph with temperatures between 50F and -20F. They also held up well
on (black ice/packed snow/mixed ice & pavement) all at high to moderate
speeds. Many cars/truck in the ditch didn't fair as well. I never had a
problem, even in Wyoming when visablitiy was close to none (high winds
60+mph & blowing snow, -10F temps) . I opted for them due to the H speed
rating and knowing I would be on varied terrain on these long trips.
For really bad weather I have some heavily studded Hakka's. Who
wouldn't?
