I don't agree.  I just did a 4500 mi road trip in my 84 Ur-q w/1 year 
old (now 9000mi) P 210 Asymmetrico's through this last "big" winter 
storm that hit the midwest.  They performed well on dry pavement at 
80-90mph with temperatures between 50F and -20F. They also held up well 
on (black ice/packed snow/mixed ice & pavement) all at high to moderate 
speeds.  Many cars/truck in the ditch didn't fair as well. I never had a 
problem, even in Wyoming when visablitiy was close to none (high winds 
60+mph & blowing snow, -10F temps) . I opted for them due to the H speed 
rating and knowing I would be on varied terrain on these long trips.

For really bad weather I have some heavily studded Hakka's. Who 
wouldn't?
