Bumper Plastic Refinishing

The rear of the Quattro gets a great deal of "blow back." Moisture and 
fine dust road grime accumulate back there. Must be part of the 
aerodynamics of the car. My '86 5KTQ gets way messy back there. Rear 
cover looks much rougher than the front. When it carries bikes on the 
hitch rack they get gross with road grime. It'd probably be tough to get 
a clean surface and a consistent bond without some kind of sanding or 
grinding action. I soak mine in armorall low gloss a few times and it 
looks pretty good for several months.
