Re: Lawyer Bashing



We lawyers are big boys and girls; and I, for one, enjoy a good lawyer
joke as well as, if not more than, those who aren't lawyers.  I think
that since I come into contact with so many more lawyers than the
average non-attorney does that I can more often see the characteristics
portrayed by "lawyer jokes" among my "distinguished colleagues."  And
everyone knows that a joke which registers in your mind as being just
like so-and-so is much funnier than an abstract joke on a subject.  I
rest upon the knowledge that when someone needs me, they aren't quite so
funny any more with his/her "lawyer attitude."  And if I do a good job
helping that person in distress, I have gained a client, but more
importantly I have gained a friend.
     By the way, did you hear the one about the lawyer who . . .
