Aftermarket Floor Mats

I have a 98 A4 1.8T and am looking at the aftermarket floor mats that
supposedly hold a gallon of water.  I see where both Rubber Queen and
Weathertech have there own version.  Both claim they are custom for a
specific car model.  I bought some from Weathertech for my other car
and they work as claimed but was never really happy with the fit.

I would appreciate any advice on which type of mat is best to protect
my car from the NE Ohio weather.
