Never leave home w/o spare

All this talk about space saver tires are a joke, i wish i had one.
Today i was going to my uncle's house in Middletown NY, and while i was
on route 17 i got a flat.  No spare, full or doughnut, had to walk about
5 miles.  Thank God it was not snowing.  I had to have the car towed to
a tire place.  Thank God for AAA Plus.  100 free miles.

One more question, will the doughnut from a 84-88 5KS, non-quattto or
turbo fit a 88 Audi 90, front wheel drive.  TIA... Will be driving again
tomorrow, WITH a spare in the trunk.
