Improved steering/track

Another tid bit.  I recently had my front strut bearing caps replaced by my
local tire/alignment shop.  Amazing difference in "on-center" feel and
wander!

My car only has 67K miles, so when the guys came back with a parts list (I
took it in for a simple alignment) I was skeptical to say the least.  They
explained that the alignment went out again so quickly because the "play" in
the bearing caps was way beyond tolerance.  I think they got it right.  My
alignment is perfect, and my steering feel is remarkably lighter and
tighter.  Worth a look in my opinion...along with dozens of other money
grubbing tweaks and tinkers...they're Audis, nuff said.
