A6 Airbag Malfunction Light on

Hi everyone,
	The airbag malfunction light on my 1995 A6 Quattro Wagon has come on. 
Surprisingly, it came on when I turned the headlamp/windshield washers on. 
I thought maybe some water spray had gotten onto some connection near the
front bumper, but I can't locate anything.  Does anyone know if there's a
simple airbag sensor at the front bumper that may have come loose and how
to get to it?  I also may have gently bumped into my spare 16" tires in the
garage a few times with the front bumper/grille, but the light didn't come
on any time then.  
	I did have the light come on before along with the transmission
malfunction light when I was messing around with some fuses in the car, and
when I brought the car to the dealer, all they had to do was "reset" a
switch or so.  I really don't want to bring the car to the dealer just so
they can charge me $100 to reset a switch, although since it is a safety
item, I'd be willing to let them check it out.  Thanks.
