V6 Recall USA

My apologies for BW to all QListers "over the pond".

Just got off the phone with both my local Audi dealer and Audi Customer
Service.

Neither one has any record of the fuel injector recall. The NHTSA
bulletin does state that owner notification will begin in mid February
1999, so I'm thinking that the notice hasn't made it down the pipe to
the little guys.

I suggest patience until mid-February. If you have any doubts as to
whether you will receive notification, call AOA, 1.800.822.2834, with
your VIN # and make sure they have you as the current owner with the
correct address (they didn't have mine right).
