Re: Dealer No Charge Repairs????

Darrin,
If you received the airbag recall and didn't have it done, then have it
done. I had the recall repair performed last year sometime. If you
authorized a $50 repair, then pay the $50. My argument would be that you
never authorized a repair totalling $350, and if the dealership doesn't
like it, well then they can just back out the repair.

Subject: Dealer No Charge Repairs????

I brought my 94 100 CSQ in for a check up. The air bag light stayed on,
and I asked the service guy to check it out. He told me my car was
still under warranty, and the $350 repair would only cost me a $50
deductible fee. I get a call from the service manager this morning
telling me I have to pay the full bill!! The dealer is Danbury
Porsche-Audi in Danbury, CT. Do I have to pay or not? It seems that
once I've been given a price quote, that's it, right or wrong on the
  part of the dealer.

I received a recall notice a looooong time ago regarding an air bag
problem with my car. Anyone know of this recall??

  Thanks!
