The milage-to-go is averaged over the last 30 miles of driving, if I
recall.

As to the "wrong trip computer", could you really fit a different trip
computer in?  I thought it was an integral part of the instrument cluster
on all Audi's, and/or the same unit in 5000's and 200's.
