There are two types of lamps used in the CC.  One type lights each or the
displays and one type lights the buttons.  They differ in wattage and are
identified by the color of the plastic ring and (it has been awhile) I think
the display lamp is tinted the gold(orange) color.
Pry off the trim and you will see screws which hold the control in place.
Remove the screws and carefully pull the unit out enough to see the back of
the lamps around the perimeter.  They are fragile.  A quarter turn CCW
releases each lamp.
