... and why do you do that?  Flow to the oil cooler is thermostatically
controlled in any case.  

I can confirm that the NF engine has an oil cooler ... my BiL's '88 5kSAvant
blew a cooler line one day and screwed up his rod bearings ... good thing
the NF engine is fairly cheap from the recyclers ...
