Check the ECU ground connection on the side of the intake manifold.  If
that connection is not good it will produce these symptoms exactly.

Replace them.

Check the electrical connection to it.  It has a heating element in it to
warm it up faster than the engine would.  It should have 12V on it when the
engine is on.
