Question about Blue Temp Light

Hello folks I have a 1988 Audi 5KQ non turbo.
I have this reoccuring problem of a Blue Temp Light on dash Idiot lights
comes on and car loses power when it does.
here is the problem when I looked thru my owners manual to see what this
means they don't mention this light anywhere.
So I looked in my repair manual and this light is only used on UK models???
I bought car in US I know that for a fact...

Any ideas??
