EC's Article on the New S4

Just wondering if anyone read the article on the new S4 in the latest issue
of European Car..

The article is fantastic.  Incredibly well-written (like most of EC's
article -IMO).  The car the writer drove was slightly modifies by MTM and I
particularly like the way he described the 'competition' between the BMW
M3/M5 and the Mercedes C36/C43 and the E55..

When he mentions the S4 -- he describes it as if Audi was waiting while BMW
and Merc tear each other apart in competition -- and then enters the S4
into the 'melee.'  I'm paraphrasing, but he says something to the effect
that Audi waits for BMW and Merc to rip each other to shreads, and then
enters a faster, smarter car -- 'tattooed with an S'

Great article.  It appears as though the smokes the M3 and the Merc C36 in
almost every category except 'top speed' where the point is 'moot' due to
speed limiters..

I recommend that everyone on the List read this article -- it really gets
your blood pumping..and makes you feel great about owning an Audi -- even
though many of us will never own the new S4!
