Uh huh.  Well, they certainly wouldn't have approved
of Amsoil at that time, either, because Amsoil 
basically said that their oil was *too_good to bother
with API certification.*
I don't know the current quality of their product,
but I just looked at their web site, and was amazed
to see that most of the unsubstantiated, pie-in-the-sky
claims of the quality of their oil, and anecdotal 
endorsements - which were there several months ago -  
were removed - (before, it would basically do everything 
good you could imagine, except maybe wash & wax your 
car for you) and that they now list their motor oil
as API certified.
Maybe if they establish themselves as a reputable
company with a reputable product someday, I'll consider
using it, but until then, I won't accept their claims 
of superiority on blind faith, thank you very much.
