Isn't it time we assembled an exhaustive battle.. er I mean thread, over
the synthetic vs. whatever oil thread and tucked it in a archive?  "What
oil should I use?" is a very natural question for someone who wants to
maintain their car well, but the answer does seem to be more a matter of
dogma than science.  Doesn't really matter what oil you use, so long as
you change it often and like it, right?
