How widespread is this practice?
Do all Audi dealers do this?

I learned the hard way not to trust anything the service writer would tell
me here at one of our two Columbus area dealers.  The level of service I've
received at the other
dealership leads me to think either they do not follow the same practice or
else they are applying it an a more ethical manner.   But my experience
there is too limited to make any kind of recommendation.  It's gotta be a
mighty strange circumstance for me to let an Audi dealership touch any of
my cars.  In fact the coupon I received from Audi for a free oil change
went unused.
