it's 95%:5% from memory, and the reason for the 5% rearwards is simply to
load the vc and help decrease the "spool up" time of the diff should awd
rather than fwd be required....

Volvo uses a viscous coupling (VC for short) and from memory 90% of
the
torque is in the front until a slip occurs and then transfers power.
Unlike the 25% to all wheels like quattro.
