RE: Blau is offering S4/S6 struts for TQW



The most important pieces of the S4 rear suspension (if you want to use the
readily available shocks for the 20vt/V8 cars) are the top spring
mount/bearing and spacer pieces.  If you have can get the whole assembly,
do, and it will bolt right on to any type 44 car.  However, all you really
need is the upper hardware.  Then buy new shocks and reuse your springs and
lower spring perch.

I suspect that Blau's deal is a good one if they are supplying new S4 rear
springs with their kit.  Those would replace the stock ones that tend to
sag over time.  I haven't priced the springs at the dealer, but I don't
suppose they would be cheap.
