5kCS: Looking for alternator cooling "scoop"

Well, it's been quite a while since I've posted this, so I'll try again ...

I've started working on getting the '88 5kCSQA torn apart and put back
together again ... finally!

As such there are a couple little problems its had that I'd like to fix at
this time. Ever since I got the car the alternator cooling duct has been
missing. I purchased the hose for it, but when I went to install it I found
that the "scoop" that the hose is supposed to attach to in the bumper was
missing. Looking at the fiche and asking Audi, I get the answer ... "it's
part of the bumper cover" ... well, I'm not going to replace the bumper
cover just to get this part!

So ... what I am wondering is if there is someone out there that happens to
have replaced their bumper cover or knows of any late model 5kTs in a
wrecking yard who can find one for me. As far as I can tell the thing is
held in place by silicone sealer, perhaps with a small phillips head screw
or two ... so it should be pretty easy to remove. It is located near the
bottom edge of the bumper on the passenger's side of the license plate
(surprisingly enough ... right in front of the alternator). If a car has it
it should be pretty easy to see by looking up underneath the bumper, you
don't need to remove the bumper to see it. Feel free to contact me if you
have any questions or need more clarification.

TIA!
