Well, we haven't seen any cloth covered rear seats with the fold down center
arm-rest either. So there's probably something we don't know down here. With
Phil Payne's observations that the phase-in period is generally "loose", maybe
they shipped water-cooled as they could and used up the air-cooled in those
years.
I'm still learning that there's not a lot of "fixed" stuff about Audis.
Except that certain parts break a lot... Just had to replace an ISV this
evening. As we were headed home my wife wanted to know why I was "playing"
with the throttle. I had hoped that it was a vacuum leak.... Yeah, right. Not
here in Bucksnort.
Anyway, if we keep posting notes, maybe someone will be able to sert through
all of it and find some coherency somewhere....
