... it is too bad that Audi never got the "win on Sunday, sell on Monday"
idea here in the states ... I guess there was a time when they had a bit of
a clue ... I remember getting to meet Bobby Unser and drool over his Pikes
Peak car at a local dealership in this area back in the mid-80's.  I wished
that I wasn't so tongue-tied ... when I told him that I had one of the
street-going versions of the car he seemed to be interested in knowing some
of the details and differences between the two.  I still wish the engine
compartment of my car was as uncluttered as the one in that car ... oh yeah,
I want that single pass intercooler that goes from the left quarter panel
all the way to the right one too!  :-)
