The BMW motorcycle list guys get together for meetings
like this, where there is at least one "Expert" present
and he teaches you how to do a certain job.  I rode
down to the DC area for one, and we did about 8-10 
spline lube jobs that night.  This is a $300-350 dealer
job, BTW, which we did for the cost of red spluge, $13/tube.
We had plenty left over too.

A fellow CQ owner emailed the other day to ask if I'd help
him do his brakes.  Perhaps the concept can be expanded
to more people if there are others and a garage is handy,
and of course repeated in other areas...
