Paradise lost, paradise regained
Beautiful Costa Rica has over 850 species of birds, 2- and 3-toed sloths,
three types of monkeys--but evidently not a single Audi. No problem seeing
MB, BMW and VW, though. There's an Audi dealer in the central valley (San
Jose) area, but they seem to do an even poorer job selling Audi than the
dealer here in Rochester. The country's road system is, um, "interesting"
and presents many opportunities for AWD vehicles during the rainy season.
4WD SUVs are in great abundance there.
Nice to be back home and ready to crawl under my car to get that
final-drive oil seal replaced.
Only about 75 200q20V messages left to read...
Res*bbed to the qlist today...there goes my life :)
Being back in (er, under) my Audi is "Pura Vida!" which--in Costa
Rica--means "Great!" BTW, anyone with an interest in visiting Costa Rica is
welcome to email me privately, and I'll be happy to share my limited, but
very positive experience.
