Check if the nut holding the front strut cartridge in place is still
tight. I had one come loose on my former 80 (4k) so the cartridge
slipped up and down at bumps and sideways in the parking lot.
To check this, jack up car with wheel in place and reach through the
spring with a vice grip or the adequate tool if handy.
Last time I replaced the strut cartridges I marked the nut and strut
with some paint. This way I can check if the nut has moved every time
I have to change the wheels.
