recall ... that's what happened on my car and it seems to me I heard someone
else posting a similar experience. From my investigation it appears that
there is no continuity in the center conductor of the coax that goes from
the rear amp to the back of the deck. I have yet to tear the thing apart to
find out if there was a connector somewhere in the line (I don't think so)
... but what the dealer did to address my complaint at the loss of AM
reception was to swap the front antenna to the rear so that I'd get some AM
reception.
When I do have a chance to trace the thing down I'll post what I find, but
it's pretty low down on the priority list right now ...
