I was quoted $120 for parts and labor for my Audi gamma radio ON/OFF knob,
so it seems that you are getting somewhat acurate quotes for your Bose.
Rather than try the repair myself, I spent an extra $80 and picked up a new
Blaupunkt with CD player.
