Off-topic, primarily UK question -
This Monday, the BBC World Service (?) Newshour
had a short bit about a puzzle being released at
a fair - I guess the London Toy Fair - which is supposed
to be too complex for computers to solve, yet manageable for
human beings. Consisting of 209 pieces and a frame that it
gets put into, it has no picture on it, and the first person
to solve it will receive a million pounds sterling!
(This sum will come from profit from sales of the puzzle,
with any gap to 1M being made up for by insurance.)
It is apparently soem sort of jigsaw puzzle; there'll
be "training" versions with 10, 14, and ?? pieces.
I've been unable to find anything about it on the web;
I did not catch the name of the designer of the puzzle
or its name.
Does anybody here know anything else about it?
TIA.
