Re: Quattro Quaterly ethical conflict....

The QCUSA may have its problems. We've heard that before from multiple
members of this list. As far as John Beckius and Sport Wheels goes, the guy
will only give you his opinion on what is best. He has done qheads a
service over the years with his Uncle John columns, doing tech inspections
before Q Club events and by supplying them with parts and service, often on
things not found elsewhere. What is he supposed to do?? ...stop doing the
columns so he can sell certain items that members ask about??.. or stop
selling so he can write his column?? Get real, oh great anonymous
sanctimoniously wronged QuattroGT@aol.com. If you knew John Beckius, you
wouldn't even go there.

I haven't talked with John in over three years, since shortly after I moved
from Colorado, but I can't imagine anyone who has dealt with the shortage of
advice, parts, etc. related to q's would be unaware that John, and Ned and
some others for that matter, are the people that have provided enough over
the years to keep us all going and are those whose opinions most of us want
to hear.

I'm done. An anonymous rub on someone I respect just rubbed me wrong this
morning.

Mea culpa,

Steve
