Maybe, maybe not. One can achieve the same (or maybe even better) result (as
Stabilant) with the Caig Laboratories products but it requires two steps.
Clean with DeoxIT, and then preserve with PreservIT or Pro-Gold (to enhance
the conductivity and protect the contacts as Stabilant does). The reason I
suggest "maybe better" is that Stabilant AFAIK is not really so much a cleaner
but a contact enhancer/preserver.
Check out Caig.com for a comparison of their products vs. Stabilant. (An old
thread I know...)
