Need A6 chiptuning advice

I was aggravated to learn about a V8 A6 coming out in a few months just
weeks after I've purchased my new A6.  If I had known I'd have waited.
BTW, I'm very new to the Audi family so I didn't know about this list
before my purchase.  Since I'm sure I can't 'upgrade' I would like to
know if anyone has invested in chip tuning, and if it's made a
difference.  Specifically I'm looking into Wetternaur (sp?).  Any help
is appreciated.
