RE: Subject: Audifest '99

Dan Sinclair decided to speak these words:

The problem here is that the original intention of Audifest '97 was to
have once central Audi event for the whole country. Tell me if im wrong,
but doesnt every single region of this country already have an Audifest
in the form of q-club usa meets? I just dont think it would be as
special, or special enough to call Audifest if it were just a variety of
regional get togethers, that can happen anytime.

The point of "Audifest" is to get people from all over the country, if
they can go, to get together when they obviously would not drive all the
way across the country for some normal q-club track event.

I have been to many regional events and only 2 Audifest's, and to say
that a central Audifest is better would be like saying: quattro is
decent in the snow. A vast understatement.

I know that i like to go to Audifest to see people from the way east that
i converse with often via email, and that just isnt going to happen if we
have regional events. There is no reason why any regional events should
take the place of Audifest, they can supplement it, or help lead up to
it, but not substitute for it.

You know where i stand, i have been to both so far, and it just keeps
getting better and better....

If you can make it to pikes peak, go.

later...
