funny you say that because im doing just that. i have 10 turbines im playing
with and have the ability to get 20k more yes 20 thousand. im currently in the
process of getting the castings done (machining the first part for the mold
needed) and bearings figured out . the turbines i have currently are 5 inches
in dia a bit bigger than i wanted but will do. i may have a line on 3 inch
turbines ill find out for sure monday. the casing i machined first worked
great but was  
a bit small unfortunately it was the biggest chunk of aluminum i had at the
time.
