if you actually READ the mentioned passage, he is giving a really balanced answer,
which is that this mod is 'worthwhile', 'do make a difference', but that 'you
probably won't feel it'. he also ends with a warning about imaginary benefits, 'i
spent... it has to have made my car better'.
and, in regard to

there isn't a single plug anywhere in either article, unless you consider his tag
with his shop address, but i would consider this as much a disclaimer as anything.
i have a hard time seeing how this is biased. nowhere in either column does he
solicit business of any type, and in fact in the first one he speaks to wanting to
see more qualified independents operating, and urges owners to find good techs
etc.
didn't think this complaint sounded fishy until i read the articles, but now...
