Why not Koni's (was which Boge's)
Tim,
I have an '88 5000 CS quattro with Koni's and H&R springs and the handling is
awesome. The reason I went with Koni's is that they are adjustable. So if they
are too stiff you can soften them or if after a few years they soften you can
make them stiffer.
If you sell the car it can be adjusted to the new drivers taste.

~Subject: Opinions on Boge Pro-gas vs Turbo Gas?
~I need shocks for the front of my 89 200tqw. From what I understand, the
~Boge Progas starts out softer, but gets stiffer as it compresses. The Turbo
~gas is more linear. From what I can tell, VW tuners say the Pro is better
~than turbo for VWs, but any thoughts about which would be better for a 200q?
~(don't say Koni's). For rears, it looks like I'll be going with the Blau
~S4/S6 rear strut package and they use a Boge (Turbo I think) shock.
