When was this on sale?  I never saw anything.  Oh well.

I'm looking for a CD head, the unfortunate part is that I'm very much
attached to the in-dash display, best damn radio feature I've seen in a
long time.  However, the quality of sound between my CD player ->cassette
adapter is worse than the radio(in particular, low-end response is muddy,
to be expected from a casette player.)

Anyone know of a better unit than our stock unit, but one that retains the
in-dash display?  I'm thinking of a radio from an S4/S6 w/CD.  I could
just grab a Blanpunkt(sp?) but this unit isn't a blanpunkt unit itself, so
I don't see why the unit would retain this functionality.

Also, anyone ever try to figure out the signal between the display and the
radio?  Gotta be something fairly simple...
