Re: phantom check engine light

I seem to recall a post saying that Audi removed the check engine lights
from the '89-91 type 44 cars due to nuisance alarms. I know my '91 200q has
a check engine window but no bulb is installed. You might want to ask your
local dealer whether a TSB was issued on this.
