Instrument cluster removal

No, but in order to remove the cluster you should also remove the column
switch assembly. To do that you must remove the steering wheel too.
The steering wheel is fastened by a 24mm nut. To access the nut you
must pull
off the horn cover (be careful, pull firmly but gently at the same time.
The clips inside might break). After removal of steering wheel, you can
then remove the columns switch assembly. There is a hole under it that
you
insert a philips screwdriver at an angle to loosen a clamp and then you
can
slide the switch off.
I reply:
Beware the speedo cable. The mount is bayonet-style. I could never
remove it without first removing the speedo cable from the transmission
Not a bad job, just a little messy.
