Tales From The Chipped

On the last episode of "Tales From The Chipped" Dr. Dan was
feverishly trying to get his Audi 5000 csq wagon, AKA "Stabin Cabin"
tuned up. All the pieces were ready for brain transplant. Igor went to
get the Intel 2764 qlcc burned and ready. 1.8 bar wasegate spring like
a bulging muscle ready to be sprung.

At the same time in the engineering department of Stanford
University, the CIS was getting the qlcc transplant. "Igor get me the
brain.. not the O.E.M. one, Get the MAD one." Little did Dr. Dan know
but brain Igor grabbed was that of a lunatic. An insane madman's brain
that had an obsession for one thing.......SPEED! Once the brain was
transplanted into the formerly subtly speedy station wagon, it turned
into a BEAST. Power in the lower rpm's, I never knew it had it in it.
Up to 60 horses? I'd say I got at least 50! I even saw the bar up at
1.9. ITS ALIVE!!!! ITS ALIVE!!!!

Thank you for watching Tales From The Chipped..Sponsored by Tony Lum,
Scott Mockry, and Tom Hasler (Stanford U).

Now one small problem. Twice, the engine would cut out. I think it
might be a clogged fuel filter, or maybe it needs a new fuel pump.
Anyway the car never stalled, but after going strong though second and
powering up in third about 4500 rpms it just cut out. I coasted for a
while slowed down then punched it in second to 6000 rpm, It went fine.
I think its a fuel delivery problem. The car drove great today, but I
wasn't pushing it. Any Ideas?
