My 88 5kcstq boost guage may also actually work correctly.  I got the EXACT
result that Dan describes, 1.9 bar indicated and wham, no fuel pump.  My 86
5kcst 5sp saw 1.8 bar once, and generally saw 1.7 (that car REALLY went like
stink in a straight line tho').  Mike's suggestion about the spring perch
was a good one.  I'd never thought about it.
